Job summary

Kennedy Care Center seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care as outlined in each resident's care plan. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, document changes, and report to the Nurse Supervisor.

Attention to privacy and safety is essential. Responsibilities include preparing rooms, transporting residents, and supporting a calm, warm environment while following facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain CNA certification as required by state law.
• CPR certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, and follow care plans and documentation.
• Proficiency in recording and reporting resident information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristband/photo ID before any care.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, charts, etc.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Escort and transfer residents between rooms and to/from vehicles as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any breaches.
