Job summary

Texhoma Christian Care Center seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to assist residents with medications and daily living activities. You will dispense medications, observe resident conditions, and follow established policies to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires current Texas CNA and CMA licensure, completion of related training, and ability to perform duties with care and compassion in a resident-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Requires completion of Nursing Assistant course or equivalent and a Medication Aide course.
• Holds current Texas licensure as a Certified Nurse Aide and as a Certified Medication Aide.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently/continuously.
• Must comply with Texas Nurse Aide Registry requirements and Texhoma policies.

Responsibilities

• Gather and dispense medications and PRN meds for residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Follow facility policies and procedures and observe resident conditions.
• Maintain accuracy in medication administration and recordkeeping.
• Work under supervision with attention to safety and regulatory requirements.
