Job summary

Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Wilkesboro, NC is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our resident care team. You will help ensure residents receive medications safely and on schedule, while providing hands-on support that promotes comfort, independence, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Current CMA certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care needs while promoting dignity and respect.
• Prepare and administer medications per physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor residents for changes and communicate concerns to nursing staff.
• Record medication administration and resident observations promptly.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning as needed.
• Support residents with grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Work closely with nurses and care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Encourage resident engagement and contribute to a positive living environment.
