Qualifications

• Current CMA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration of medications for residents on the unit.
• Prepare residents for therapy, visits, activities, and transport as needed.
• Accurately administer medications, ensuring correct patient, time, dose, and route.
• Assist residents with hygiene and encourage self-care activities.
• Follow infection control procedures and isolation protocols as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation for CMA duties each shift.
• Present a professional image to residents and families.
• Uphold resident rights and address concerns per policy.
