Job summary

Hillcrest in Blackwell, OK is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant who will prepare, administer and document medications under a licensed nurse, and provide routine daily care to residents.

Qualifications

• CNA license required.
• Must have completed a state-approved training program and any required examinations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer and document medications given to residents under supervision of a licensed nurse within regulatory time frames as ordered by the Physician.
• Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as directed by supervisors.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned by nursing management.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment.
• Always follow infection control techniques.
• Demonstrate pride keeping areas clean and safe.
• Demonstrate ongoing responsibility and commitment through good attendance and by being on time to work.
• Respect the privacy and dignity of residents.
