Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our Nursing team. This part‑time/PRN role involves administering prescribed meds, monitoring residents, and ensuring safe care according to physician orders.

The CMA will work with the DON and nursing staff, providing compassionate, resident‑centered support. Flexible scheduling with rotating weekends; prior CMA/CNA experience preferred, Nebraska CMA certification required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CMA certification and Nebraska CNA certification required.
• Healthcare experience in skilled nursing preferred.
• Proficient with EHR and basic healthcare tech.

Mansioni

• Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with facility protocols and physician orders.
• Resident Monitoring: Observe and document changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs and any adverse reactions to medications.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized medication storage area; follow infection control procedures.
• Resident Support: Provide compassionate and respectful assistance to residents, addressing their needs and preferences.
• Communication: Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and communicate with residents’ families.
• Documentation: Complete medication administration records, health observations, and incident reports accurately.
