Job summary

Emerald Care Center Midwest is seeking a dedicated CMA (Certified Medication Aide) to join our Nursing team. The CMA administers medications, monitors residents, and helps maintain a safe, supportive environment for our residents in a skilled nursing setting.

This full-time role offers shift from 3-11pm, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to work closely with nurses and physicians. Candidates should have CMA certification, good communication, and the ability to lift and transfer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CMA certification as required by Oklahoma regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with residents and families.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents and perform tasks requiring stamina.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately.
• Monitor residents' health, vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, organized medication storage and follow infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and families to coordinate care.
• Complete all required documentation including MARs and incident reports.
