Job summary

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide clinic-based patient care under RN/provider direction. Responsibilities include rooming patients, vitals, injections, education, and accurate EHR documentation.

Requirements include Arkansas LPN license and BLS certification. Prior clinic experience and familiarity with EKG/PFT workflows are preferred. Full-time weekday clinic hours with a competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved PN program; Arkansas LPN license.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Room patients; obtain histories and vital signs; prep for exams and procedures.
• Administer injections/medications; dress simple wounds; remove staples/sutures per competency.
• Coordinate referrals, pharmacy calls, and prior authorizations; manage medication refills per protocol.
• Assist with EKG and spirometry/PFT per policy; maintain clean, stocked rooms.
• Provide patient education and post-visit follow-up calls; document thoroughly in the EHR.
