Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA certification in state of practice required.
• Experience with medical terminology and computer literacy preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
• ECG interpretation course or equivalent training preferred for some units.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility to promote patient health.
• Collect vital signs and other data; document in medical records.
• Report abnormalities to licensed staff and ensure continuity of care.
• Perform procedures (e.g., EKGs, catheter removal) under supervision.
• Handle receptionist/clerical duties and support department operations.
• Maintain patient records, charting forms, and supply levels.
• Transport patients as needed and assist in OR turnover.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care and service.
