Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or turf maintenance.
• Ability to operate riding mowers and hand tools safely.
• Physical ability for outdoor labor in all weather conditions.
• Compassionate, respectful demeanor in sensitive environments.
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cemetery grounds through regular mowing, trimming, edging, and landscaping.
• Prepare grave sites for burials, including digging, backfilling, and turf restoration.
• Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, tractors).
• Remove debris to keep the cemetery clean year-round.
• Repair and maintain pathways, fencing, markers, and infrastructure.
• Respond respectfully to visiting families and guests.
