Job summary

Everstory Partners in Ashland, KY is seeking a part-time Grounds Maintenance role focused on landscape upkeep for memorial settings. You will perform weed-whacking, mowing, equipment maintenance, and assist with funeral services as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance, strong organizational and customer service skills, the ability to lift 80 lbs, and a valid driver's license. Availability for holidays, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform weed-whacking, lawn mowing, and other landscape maintenance duties.
• Maintain equipment.
• All functions related to funeral services.
• Operate machinery safely and appropriately.
• Install or assist in installing cemetery vaults and headstones as needed.
• Handle the day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Handle snow removal (if applicable).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.
