Job summary

shinebrightcare is seeking a detail-oriented Case Management Assistant in Alaska to handle consumer files, documentation, and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate assessments, maintain accurate records, and support caregivers and guardians with sensitive information.

The role requires HIPAA knowledge, strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years in healthcare.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and safeguarding confidential records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for Consumers/Representatives and families.
• Prepare documentation and attend initial and annual assessments.
• Process intake documentation and VOD/QDC requests.
• Fax and transmit required forms to Alaska state agencies.
• Schedule home visits and coordinate with PCA/waiver clients.
• Maintain and organize electronic and paper files.
• Assist with hiring/firing Personal Care Assistants.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
