Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Pass a Criminal Background Check and have a valid Alaska Driver’s License.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient typing (65 wpm) and MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Consumers/Legal Representatives/Guardians and family members.
• Prepare documentation for initial and annual assessments.
• Process intake documentation and Verification of Diagnosis requests.
• Handle confidential records per State and Federal regulations.
• Schedule and attend home visits and coordinate with caregivers.
• Assist with hiring/firing Personal Care Assistants and participate in meetings.
• Maintain program compliance and organize large volumes of information.
