Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring/moving client throughout the home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks: vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, dishes, laundry, clean bathroom.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, showering, dressing, shaving.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care assistance.
• Provide companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.
