Job summary

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our Assisted Living team. This part-time third shift (10:30p-6:30a) offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

You will support licensed staff by helping residents with daily activities and basic care. The role involves assisting with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, and mobility, while documenting observations and collaborating with RN/LPN as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old; prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to document care given and good assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of residents under supervision of RN and LPN.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
