Job summary

HR Alliance is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide person-centered support to individuals who require assistance with daily living and community participation. The Caregiver will work directly with participants and, when applicable, their families or authorized representatives to promote independence, dignity, safety, choice, and quality of life in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Must meet applicable program and employment eligibility requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and household activities related to care.
• Provide companionship, supervision, and person-centered support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
• Support participation in community activities, appointments, and errands.
• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
• Follow the participant's service plan and instructions.
• Complete timesheets and required documentation on time.
• Report injuries or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Complete orientation and ongoing training.
• Perform duties within training and assigned responsibilities.
