Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate, reliable Caregivers/PCAs to join our growing team in the PA area. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support to help clients maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of personal care experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to follow a client care plan.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support based on each client’s care plan
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and ADLs
• Prepare meals, help with feeding, light housekeeping, and laundry; maintain a clean, safe home
• Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement throughout the home
• Provide medication reminders per the care plan and applicable requirements
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands when applicable
