Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate caregivers and PCAs to join our growing team. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support in clients’ homes, helping them maintain dignity and independence.

The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, and able to follow individual care plans. We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, free medical insurance, paid holidays, and referral bonuses, with growth opportunities within a growing agency.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Previous experience as Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, or similar position is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual and dependable.
• Ability to work independently while following the client’s care plan.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support per the client’s care plan.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and ADLs.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; light housekeeping and laundry; maintain a safe, organized home.
• Provide companionship, encourage independence and social engagement.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers as per care plan; support safe movement.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands.
