Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is seeking compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join a growing team. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support in clients' homes, helping maintain dignity and independence.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of personal care experience, reliable transportation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow care plans.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation; if transporting clients, valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support per care plan.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and ADLs to maintain dignity and independence.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Offer companionship and support, encourage social engagement and independence.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home.
• Provide medication reminders as per care plan and assist with appointments and errands.
