Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. We provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation and, if transporting clients, a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship and daily living support.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, ADLs and mobility as per care plan.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Offer companionship and support to promote independence and social engagement.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan and assist with appointments when applicable.
