Job summary

Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER/PCA/DSP in the Ham Lake area for part-time hours, with daily or weekly pay. Roles include non-medical elderly care, companionship, light housekeeping, shopping, and meal preparation.

You will support seniors to stay independent, assist with daily activities, and monitor well-being. Training is available, flexible shifts, and you’ll join an established home care team that values staff and client safety.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Auto insurance required.
• 18+ years old; willing to travel up to 25 miles.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.

Responsibilities

• Non-medical elderly care and home companionship.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed (laundry, groceries, meals).
• Help with personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding.
• Provide companionship and dementia/cognitive support as needed.
• Complete shift documentation and communicate with office about client needs.
