Job summary

Griswold Home Care in Apple Valley, MN is hiring a PART-TIME CAREGIVER/PCA/DSP to provide elderly care and companionship in clients’ homes. You will assist with daily living tasks, monitor well-being, prepare meals, run errands, and support clients with dignity and respect.

We offer flexible day and night shifts, weekly pay, training, and opportunities for advancement. Prior home care experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of home care experience is a plus; caregiving for a loved one counts.

Responsibilities

• As a CAREGIVER/PCA/DSP, assist with daily living tasks in clients' homes.
• Provide cheerful companionship and perform household tasks such as cooking and light chores.
• Maintain client dignity and safety, assist with personal hygiene as needed.
• Document care provided and communicate changes to the office.
• Be flexible with day and night shifts; provide up to 24-hour coverage if needed.
