Griswold Home Care in Apple Valley, MN is hiring a PART-TIME CAREGIVER/PCA/DSP to provide elderly care and companionship in clients’ homes. You will assist with daily living tasks, monitor well-being, prepare meals, run errands, and support clients with dignity and respect.

We offer flexible day and night shifts, weekly pay, training, and opportunities for advancement. Prior home care experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidates.

Qualificações

• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.

• 2+ years of home care experience is a plus; caregiving for a loved one counts.

Responsabilidades

• As a CAREGIVER/PCA/DSP, assist with daily living tasks in clients' homes.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAREGIVER/PCA/DSP

As a CAREGIVER/PCA/DSP senior clients rely on you to help them manage daily living tasks within their homes. You enjoy meeting with clients and providing cheerful companionship as you assist with various responsibilities. Whether you’re doing laundry, preparing meals, or grocery shopping, you take on each job with a positive attitude.

Clients trust you to provide non-medical care in a manner that preserves their dignity. You are professional and respectful as you help clients bathe and maintain their personal hygiene. On occasion, you provide caregiving services for clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Your patience and kindness are central to your ability to provide exceptional elderly care.

At the end of each shift, you submit accurate documentation, keeping the office updated on any changes to your clients’ care. You enjoy helping seniors and take pride in knowing your efforts as a dependable caregiver make a difference.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A CAREGIVER/PCA/DSP

This companionship and caregiving position has flexible scheduling with day shifts and night shifts available. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.
