Discovery Senior Living in Ormond Beach, FL is hiring a Care Giver/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a home-like environment.

Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and coordinating with healthcare staff to ensure safety and well-being. Flexible full‑time and part‑time hours with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living.
• Administer and observe medications per the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly.
• Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities.
• Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well‑being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and security systems.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
