Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a dedicated Care Giver/Med Tech to support residents with daily living activities and medication assistance. You'll work on a compassionate team in a home-like community, delivering safe, respectful care.

Ideal candidates have a CNA certification (preferred), a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to learn. Full-time and part-time schedules, competitive wages, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and monitor wellbeing.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions and document accordingly.
• Assist with meals, activities, mobility and hygiene tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas and ensure safety.
• Follow medication procedures under supervision and maintain appropriate records.
• Participate in service plans and updates with the healthcare team.
