Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of Sevita, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team to help people grow, learn, and live well, building meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve while taking initiative to support their participation in the community.

Sevita offers flexible schedules (full-time/part-time/as needed), competitive pay ($18.10–$19.85/hr), full benefits including a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Valid drivers license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Engage participants in community activities and developmental goals.
• Develop real relationships and provide care in a supportive environment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure participant well-being and safety.
