Mentor Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring caregivers to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll assist with personal care, help participants engage in community activities, and build meaningful relationships in a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsabilités

• Assist participants with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants participate in the community and enjoy activities.
• Assist with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition to meet goals.
