Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, offers community-based support for individuals with developmental disabilities. Starting pay is $15.75 per hour, with full benefits for full-time employees and a 401(k) with a company match.

As a caregiver, you’ll build meaningful relationships, take initiative, and help participants participate in activities and achieve personal goals in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Provide compassionate, patient support and help participants engage in community activities.
• Support participants in achieving personal goals related to budgeting, exercise and nutrition.
