Job summary

Sevita’s Mentor Community Services in Lakewood, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You’ll help with daily living, promote independence, and build meaningful relationships in a mission-driven team.

The role offers an hourly wage of $18.47, schedule Thu–Sat 6am–2pm, and a full benefits package for full-time employees, plus Pay on Demand and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
• Valid driver’s license for at least one year and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene.
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in their favorite activities.
• Assist with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
