Job summary

StoryPoint Washington is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized assistance for residents in our community. You will support daily living activities, monitor comfort levels, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include bathing, dining assistance, mobility support, and medication help as appropriate. With our supportive team, you will participate in ongoing training and stay aligned with our 1440 care standards to meet resident needs effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) Certification preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture – our pillars and 1440.
• Completion of daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator, as well as assisting others routinely with their assignments if needed.
• Provide compassionate and competent care for residents: bathing, grooming, dining assistance, mobility support, toileting and incontinence care, daily routines.
• Medication assistance, personal care/medication administration in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Duties include documenting records and logs, participating in meetings, and following safety procedures.

Education
