Nightingale Respite Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to deliver non-medical home care and companionship to our aging clients in the Whitwell area. This role supports clients with daily activities, mobility, meals, and routine tasks within their service plans.

Duties include assisting with transfers, bathing, dressing, meal prep, and light housekeeping. Shifts vary Sunday through Saturday according to client needs, with a focus on safety and quality of life.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check.
• 1 year caregiver experience in health care, nursing home, hospital or other homecare setting.
• Valid driver’s license/state ID and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Aufgaben

• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Housekeeping
• Assists clients with transfers and ambulation including cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift (as needed)
• Helps clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Plan, prepare and serve meals with client assistance when possible
• Assists with toileting including bedpan or toilet
• Report any unusual events to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Complete other duties per Client Service Plan
