Job summary

Right at Home Austin West is seeking caregivers in Austin to provide personal assistance and in-home care in a supportive environment. The role includes companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing assistance, transportation, and respectful communication with clients and families.

Schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1pm to 5pm with base pay of $15 per hour and opportunities for weekly pay, with the potential for growth through training and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Provide personal assistance and/or health-related services to patients/clients in their place of residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to client.
• Provide preparation of meals.
• Light housekeeping.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide transportation. (Valid DL required)
• Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees.
• Provide an environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy and property.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills.
• Report unsafe conditions and problems to agency management.
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency through attending required in-services.
• Promote the Right at Home philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
