Job summary

CareBuilders at Home, Inc. in Tampa seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care. You will support clients at home, help with daily activities, and offer companionship, while maintaining dignity and independence.

The role offers flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time), weekly pay, and mileage reimbursement. A valid HHA/CNA, CPR, and background screening are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active HHA or CNA certification is required.
• CPR certification preferred or required.
• Level 2 background screening completed.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• TB test within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and support independence with dignity.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
• Offer companionship and emotional support; assist with light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings; report health changes.
• Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Accurately document daily living activities in a clear, concise manner.
