Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking empathetic and reliable caregivers to provide assistance and companionship to individuals needing help with daily activities in their own homes. The role focuses on supportive care, safety, and enhancing quality of life through compassionate service.

The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for career advancement within a nationally recognized home care company. Training is provided, and the impact on clients’ independence is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
