Job summary

Right at Home Northern Kansas City is hiring CNAs, HHAs and caregivers to deliver compassionate in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities. You’ll work in clients’ homes with PPE supplied, and join a supportive team with flexible scheduling and ongoing training.

This role requires mobility to assist with transfers, medication reminders, light housekeeping and companionship. A valid driver’s license and background check are needed; CNA/HHA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and transfers.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing, dressing, shaving tasks as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care and companionship activities.
