Job summary

Salus Homecare is seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers to support clients in South Bay communities including Torrance, Long Beach, Carson, and surrounding areas. We offer mornings, weekends, and overnight shifts with flexible hours to fit your schedule.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help with mobility and transportation as needed. A strong focus on reliability and a positive company image is essential.

Qualifications

• HCA Certification required by CA State; Livescan fingerprinting for FBI background check (Salus can assist).
• TB Test within 90 days of start.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a companion to clients.
• Arrive to clients' home in a timely manner.
• Assist with personal care activities (bathing, grooming, feeding, dressing).
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turn, reposition, and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet client needs.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
• Notify office of any abnormal findings or conditions.
• Represent the company with a positive image at all times.
