Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Roanoke, Virginia seeks a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with daily living activities and maintain a safe, welcoming environment at our community at 4428 Pheasant Ridge Road, Roanoke, VA 24014.

You will support residents, document incidents, coordinate with nursing staff, and participate in activity programs while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily routines.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate staff and document as required.
• Perform housekeeping duties and keep common areas clean and tidy.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activities for residents and maintaining confidentiality.
