Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to enrich the lives of residents at Aston Gardens at Pelican Marsh in Naples, FL. You will provide hands-on personal care, support daily activities, and foster a safe, home-like environment with respect and dignity.

This role requires compassionate, resident-focused care, strong communication with residents and staff, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Competitive wages and full-time schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, team members, and leadership.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with excellent service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated group of residents during shift, monitoring whereabouts and conducting checks.
• Provide daily personal care support: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating assistance.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
• Promote independence while ensuring dignity, safety, and well-being.
• Keep resident rooms and work areas clean and organized.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs.
• Notify supervisor or care coordinator if care needs increase.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
