Right At Home Indianapolis West is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. You will provide personal care, daily living assistance and companionship while following care plans and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility within the client’s home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and reminders for medications.
• Provide dementia care and companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.
