Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring compassionate caregivers in Vermont to support clients at home with personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and companionship. Training and ongoing development are provided, and a flexible schedule helps fit your life.

You’ll work with a caring team under supportive leadership, making a meaningful impact in clients’ daily lives. Whether you’re experienced or just starting your caregiving journey, we offer training, tools, and encouragement to succeed,

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks)
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks)
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred — not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Help with mobility and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and nutritional support
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Support clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• Document care using AxisCare app
• Follow all safety and infection-control policies
