Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their own homes. You will provide practical assistance and companionship, helping with daily activities while promoting safety and independence.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Dependable, responsible, and professional.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks).
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing practical assistance and meaningful companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Helping with mobility and safe transfers.
• Meal preparation and nutritional support.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Transportation to appointments and errands.
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Documenting care using AxisCare app.
• Following safety and infection-control procedures.
