Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Utah is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients at home, helping them stay safe and independent in the place they love: home.

You’ll join a supportive team, receive training, and enjoy flexible schedules, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth as you enhance quality of life for seniors and families.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Dependable, responsible, and professional.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks).
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• As a caregiver, you’ll provide both practical assistance and meaningful companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Helping with mobility and safe transfers.
• Meal preparation and nutritional support.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Transportation to appointments and errands.
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Documenting care using our AxisCare app.
• Following safety and infection-control procedures.
