Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking caring caregivers to help clients live safely and joyfully at home. You’ll provide personal care, mobility support, and companionship in our home-based care team.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks).
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred — not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Help with mobility and safe transfers.
• Meal preparation and nutritional support.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Support clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Document care using AxisCare app.
• Follow all safety and infection-control policies.
