Job summary

REM Community Services in Wheeling, WV, part of Sevita, seeks a caregiver for full-time dayshift. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with personal care, nutrition, hygiene, and daily living activities.

A driver’s license is often needed to reach waiver homes and group settings. We offer competitive pay of $14.75/hour with On Demand Pay options, full benefits, and a strong support network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills include cooking, cleaning, assisting with personal care (eating, dressing, bathing, toileting).

Responsibilities

• Support participants with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist participants in achieving developmental goals (budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, nutrition).
• Help participants participate in community activities and manage challenges calmly.
