Sevita REM West Virginia is hiring caring individuals to support adults with developmental disabilities in community and home settings.

This full-time role includes day/evening shifts, a requirement for a valid driver’s license, and opportunities for on-demand pay. You will build meaningful relationships, help participants achieve personal goals, and assist with daily living activities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Cooking, cleaning, assisting with personal care, such as eating, dressing, bathing and toileting and the ability to stay calm and problem solve in stressful situations.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance in some positions.

Responsibilities

• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Encourage participation in community activities.
• Provide care for individuals with autism and related conditions.

$14.75 hourly with On Demand Pay Options
