Job summary

Eagle Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident care in a friendly, home-like setting. You will follow care plans, monitor health data, assist with daily activities, and support mobility and safety for elderly residents.

Role requires strong communication in English, empathy, and reliability. This position offers a team-oriented environment with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Nursing Assistant Training Program cert./CNA preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications may be required by state.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.
• Courteous, patient and compassionate approach with elderly residents.
• Strong integrity and discretion handling health information.

Responsibilities

• Follow the individualized service plan for each resident and document observations.
• Record vital signs, weights and other data per policy.
• Assist with activities of daily living and restorative nursing techniques.
• Provide behavioral prompts, redirection and supportive assistance.
• Encourage participation in activities and escort residents to events.
• Assist transfers and mobility with safe body mechanics and devices as needed.
• Provide prompt response to urgent resident calls and maintain a safe environment.
• Support other departments as part of the nursing team and keep areas clean.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
