Job summary

Eagle Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to follow individualized care plans and support residents with daily living activities. You will monitor health needs, assist with mobility, and promote safety across the community.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, coordinating activities, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Applicants should have a GED, CNA-related certifications, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Nursing Assistant Training Program certificate approved by State Board of Nursing preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification, if required by state regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and follow written and oral instructions.
• A courteous, friendly, patient, and compassionate approach to working with elderly residents.
• Strong integrity and discretion in handling residents' health information.

Responsibilities

• Follow the individualized service plan (ISP) for each resident and observe changes in condition.
• Check and record vital signs, weights, and other data per state regulations.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Provide behavioral prompts, cues, redirection, and supportive assistance as needed.
• Encourage participation in scheduled activities and assist with transportation to activities and appointments.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Respond promptly to urgent resident calls and provide back-up support to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and common areas; handle linen and laundry tasks.
