Job summary

Avamere at Sandy is seeking a part-time/on-call caregiver to support residents in daily living activities and emotional well-being. You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, and help maintain a clean, safe environment for residents in a memory care/assisted living setting.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification eligibility, ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card, and experience with electronic medical records. Flexible weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

Prefer experience as a Caregiver in Memory Care Unit and/or Assisted Living Facility.
Must have ability to obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
Must have ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Perform housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and tidying resident areas.
Monitor health and vital signs; report concerns to medical staff as needed.
Answer resident calls for assistance promptly and maintain a safe environment.
