Gallaher Signature Living - Cardinal Point is seeking a full-time Caregiver in Assisted Living to join our team in California. This role supports residents with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and companionship in an elegant, person-centered environment.

Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $20.50 per hour, with scheduled shifts and opportunities for growth within Seasons Memory Care and Assisted Living.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving experience in assisted living, memory care, or related setting preferred; training provided for qualified candidates.
• Ability to safely use mobility aids, adaptive equipment, and basic household appliances.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire, as required by Title 22).
• Basic computer skills, including email and electronic documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented, compassionate, and team-focused approach.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and continence care, honoring resident preferences, privacy, and dignity.
• Support residents with mobility, ambulation, positioning, and transfers using walkers, wheelchairs, gait belts, and approved lifting techniques.
• Assist with mealtime service, including meal delivery, set-up, cueing, and feeding as permitted, ensuring a gracious and enjoyable dining experience.
• Respond promptly to call systems, alerts, and resident requests to ensure safety, comfort, and peace of mind.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ physical condition, cognitive status, or emotional wellbeing to licensed or supervisory staff per Title 22 requirements.
• Provide light housekeeping related to resident care, such as laundry, bed making, and tidying living spaces.
• Encourage residents to participate in maintaining their personal living spaces to support independence and safety.
• Offer warm companionship and engage residents in conversation, recreational activities, and social events.
• Promote participation in community life and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.
• Adhere to all community policies, infection control practices, resident rights, and confidentiality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
