Job summary

Gallaher Signature Living seeks a full-time Caregiver in Assisted Living to deliver person-centered care in an elegant, active living environment. You will assist residents with daily activities, provide warm companionship, and support dignity, choice, independence, and overall wellbeing in California.

This role emphasizes safety, respectful communication, and adherence to community policies. Training is provided for qualified candidates, with First Aid/ CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or related setting preferred; training provided.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and continence care.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe use of walkers or wheelchairs.
• Assist with mealtime service, meal delivery, set-up, and feeding as permitted.
• Respond to call systems and resident requests to ensure safety and comfort.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to licensed or supervisory staff.
• Provide light housekeeping related to resident care (laundry, bed making, tidying).
• Encourage participation in living spaces to support independence and safety.
• Offer warm companionship and engage residents in activities and social programs.
